just learning LIVE now and going through the recording audio tutorial I thought recording in arrange view would produce a clip in the session view, nope

hey ya'll, I just got LIVE lite with a controller. I'm thinking about upgrading to 7. But, I won't until I know it'll work right on my system. problem is i'm getting dropouts and crackle using just one soft synth. Raising buffers doesn't help (latency). I can use reaper and sonar at 4ms with no drop...
