Your Jx3p appears to be missing the side panels! Your right no end panels... Picked up for $70 as it had been in a fire the end panels were missing and the pitch bender lever is melted but still works been thinking of adding wooden ones... Spent a few days cleaning the insides cos they were covered...

Still need to adjust my monitors although not the ideal placement it is the best I can do at the moment as I have to accomodate a couch in my studio which is nice to flake out on...
