Re: Small, under $500 real analog synths? -here's one -any more?
I have an MFB Kraftzwerg. It's got a damin nice sound but the MIDI interface is a bit tempremental. The dark energy is meant to be good, but it's only a single oscillator, which means it's only good for basses and certain lead sounds, because there's no chance of getting big shifting pads or even ju...

Re: A letter from Steve Jobs: Fuck you, Adobe
Jobs is just being an Asshat. We're nowhere near being able to feasibly abandon flash as a content delivery medium for the web. jQuery and HTML5 could (in theory) do it one day, but it's not going to be for a while. The comments about pointy-clicky-mousyness apply to almost every website ever, not j...

Re: Radiohead - Everything In Its Right Place (Ed J Remix)
haha, cheers, I was worried cus it was pretty low on the list and didn't have many views ;) I get the feeling I need to adjust my monitors a bit, probably need some stands and foam, because I'm getting a lot of low end on tracks. Perhaps I just need to get used to checking tracks on headphones befor...

Re: First Ableton track - Progressive House Trance like..
I agree about the toms at the start. Try messing a little with the reverb on the tamborine-thing yin the background too, it's almost drowning ;) At 1:05 the piano is very high in the mix! When everything kicks in the drums are a little low in the mix. This track is really crying out for a nice big p...

Re: I need some advices :-)
2:02 - Nice guitar sound, shame it barely makes much of an appearance! 3:03 - Like what you've tried to do here, but the percussion feels a bit out of time. Try tightening up the shakers. 5:11 - Almost the Eagles. Nice :) Overall, it's not bad, you're clearly a good musician with a solid knowledge o...

Re: New track - Sprgl Sprng
I like the feel of this track, but it really needs a bit of drive, some great big build up to a powerful ending. At the moment, it just feels like you've hit a vibe you like, and not tried to build on it. I reckon the track would be much improved by some semiquaver percussion, and a bit of a basslin...

Re: Nine Inch Nails -survivalism remix for PRATICE, coments pls
Wow. You really munched it with the FX :D My thoughts: 1) Put in a stronger beat, you're basically relying on some very squashed beats from the original track, and the movement of the original track suffered a bit.Try just layering a new kick and hihat part over the top, the drums are a very importa...
