are you sure that's not the key map your using?

I just click the crossfader in MIDI map mode and the job's done.
I think the key map breaks the cross fader into 3 sections so you can assign individual buttons to left, centre and right.

I agree. For now, the workaround is to select several clips and choose a colour. That will apply the same colour to all the selected clips. Yep, I do that for the scenes too. It'd be nice if I could make a whole scene or track background a specific colour.

so it'd be easier to check what samples are playing on what channels by just glancing at the screen when playing live.[/list]

Interesting.

So when I'm running stuff like MIDIox in the background then that's gonna make the Live "CPU" meter seem to run higher coz there's less processing availabe to use for audio?
