Re: Has anybody received their Push yet?
I can see a dilemma coming up: IF mine arrives in the next few days, do I open it up and play with it, or do I flip it straight onto eBay?

Re: Dubstep track composition

Then use a sine wave (using Simpler or Operator or whatever you have) playing the same notes and using roughly the same attack/decay settings, but transposed to the sub 100Hz range, to replace...

Re: Best gig you ever attended? (as a punter!)
Megadog Midi Circus, Bristol Anson Rooms, early nineties. Eat Static, Aphex and Orbital. At least, I think Orbital played but I can't remember as I got myself so messed up during Aphex's set. It was back when he was doing industrial noise type stuff, from inside a nest of wires and dusty drum machin...

Re: Trap Music
Perhaps he only listened to shit dance music, and missed everything done before him that was actually pretty good. I'd go further and say that, by 2005, dance music was pretty much nothing but sound sculpting and audio engineering... Everything was micro-edited and spectrum analysed half to death b...

Re: Your most embarrassing performance moments 2
Many years ago, I've got my ESQ-1 and drum machine and module all hammering away when I tread on the mains plugs by accident. The ESQ goes off - massive crunch and bzzzzzt over the PA, screen blanks out etc, but the drum machine carries on... Weird. I give the plug another kick and it comes back on,...

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the automatic snap-or-not-snap to grid in the piano roll editor. It's really clever and works well.
Maybe no-one else uses the piano roll any more?

Re: Select track automatically when I arm to automap knobs. How?
You can map a MIDI Button or whatever to a Rack Device's title bar, so that rack becomes the blue hand target when you press the button.
Is that what you meant?

Re: How heavy is Live 9 Suite download?
Could anyone post a list of the actual Pack file sizes please? I left mine downloading last night, and while all the files seem to have downloaded, some of the sizes are nowhere near what the ableton.com site says they are (some are bigger, some are smaller!) edit: Or, put it another way - would an ...
