Live Lite 6 to Live Full Upgrade

Hi,

I just ordered the upgrade from Live Lite to Live Full and have unlocked it successfully.

I was under the impression that Operator came with Live? Is this a separate purchase? :?

On a budget, you could try several things. With an electric guitar, you could always plug it into the Audiophile (does it have DI?) and use some guitar amp sims. With an acoustic, try building a cable with a 1/4" mono jack on one end to plug into the input on the Audiophile and a $2 Piezo picku...

I came across this the other night as I'd just swtiched to a Macbook after using a PC for, ever.

You need to get the 1.04 Update in order for the Mac to recognise it. 1.04 makes it UB.

Yes, I was referring to the controller mapping feature to build your own control surface with unsupported controllers. Cheers..

Macbook Pro Core Audio Latency

This has probably been asked before, but I've tried the search function and it always brings back over 20,000 hits. :? I just bought a 15" Macbook Pro (2.16GHz, 2GB RAM) for my first Mac. Before this I've always used a PC and my last was an old nForce2 Shuttle with an E-MU 0404 PCI soundcard. N...

I've already checked that and my serial doesn't match. I do use the Macbook for prolonged periods, so I may just run off AC power. Thing is, I read on the Apple support site that running the Macbook with the battery in limits the processor speed to 1GHz? Can anyone confirm this?

Macbook Battery

I know it's probably a common issue at the moment, but I'm finding that my 15" Macbook Pro battery doesn't seem to last long and the battery meter is very inaccurate. Anyone else facing this problem? Any suggestions on how to prolong the life of the battery (besides of course dimming the screen...

That's exactly what I plan to do nonnus. :) I've already found a buyer for the 533 stick (most PC laptop's nowadays run at this speed) so I'll try find a 667 stick off eBay. Thanks all..

Ok I've just put it in and you're right, it's stuck at 533. I thought the difference between 533 and 667 is doubled the bandwidth. Is it worth swapping the 533 for a 667? Or should I just make do with the 533?

Macbook Pro RAM

I've just bought a Macbook Pro 15" with 1GB RAM and I have a 1GB stick of DDR2 533 sitting in my drawer that I'd saved for it. I noticed that the Macbook RAM runs at 667, would it be ok to put a 533 stick in there? I'm aware that more than one RAM stick in a computer will run at the slowest spe...

Just try it and see? That's what I've been doing for the past 4 years and the learning curve isn't really that hard, it's your creative ability that you need to build on.
