That's what I thought,...yes, I want to slave Live to Samplitude, to record audio from Live into Samplitude... I hoped to just record output from Audio and Midi tracks, but obviously I can't do that using non-native plugins... oh dear!

Finally got to the stage in my music where I'm being asked to produce a beat cd type thing, and am happy enough with my tracks to let someone hear them! So... as I use a combination of Live and external hardware (Akai mpc 60, s950 & s2000... I know, overkilll!) I am tracking the audio to Samplit...

Well, the rack thing certainly seems that way with it's multiple functions controllable by assignable knobs...

So I bought the Akai s950...

...got it home, cleaned it up[...

And it bloody works! First time... YumYum.

Well, I haven't tried sampling yet (need a few more cables...) but the disks work and I can play it into my host no problem!.

Would be grateful for any setup tips and tricks..
