I'm having the same problem when trying to consolidate any clip shorter than 1/2 a bar. Live freezes, and one time the problem has induced a kernel panic on my mac. The recovered project file cannot be opened. Saving beforehand doesn't help. I'm working in 24/44.1, so maybe nothing to do with 48khz ...

Is it possible that your rendered Ableton files are 32 bit and PT can't read them? Neither Reason 4 nor PT7 can can understand 32bit files. Not sure about PT8, but I don't think bit depth will be an issue there.

Hi, I know this thread is really old, but I thought I'd post as I got the A buttons to work with the track arm function - The MIDI mappings for the PCR need to be set to 'latch' mode on each of these buttons.
