Make sure you read the license before you do this. Many of those multi-license deals have provisions for exacttly who or how you can divide the licenses (multiple computers, educational, corporate, etc.)

Generally, you just need to install the driver (sometimes not even this), and then select the correct inputs/outputs in whatever program you're using, such as Live. Sounds like your new longer RCA cables are rather poorly sheilded. I would also check placement of powercables in relation to these extensions (avoid proximity, if not possible, avoid running the cables immedatly parallel or perpindicular, a 45* angle would be best) but your best solution is to mov...
