Re: Ableton making fans spin really high on a MacBook pro

Re: What's your next music gear purchase?
My next purchase will probably be a Fender standard MIM telecaster and a guitar amp. Im also thinking about buying a 4 or 8 track tape recorder. I never owned one and would like to try making a couple of songs that way. I want to pretend Im in my teens and have all the gear to "make it big"...

Re: OS X 10.11.5
I have no problems with 10.11.5 Like others I had many minor issues when 10.11 was first released, but like most software (Ableton Live) it seems to take a year to get things working normal.

I will see how this turns out. I ordered it with the expectations of it lasting me a very long time.

Re: Does a reliable audio interface really exist?
Interestingly close to the picture I have in my head based on input from users and owners I encounter though I missed the Focusrite differences. i believe that the reliable Focusrite Saffire is the Firewire version. I am using a Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 which is the Firewire version. Im using it wi...

Re: Does a reliable audio interface really exist?
Does it do this on its own or when you adjust the front knob? This seems like a huge issue if its the former.Angstrom wrote: The only problem with it is the front knob is an encoder which can tend to suddenly decide that we all need to take a sudden violent leap from -32db to +6db
Other than that, it's great.

Does a reliable audio interface really exist?
Is that a real thing.. a reliable non fucking up audio interface? I have gone through many audio interfaces and each one fucks up in some area. Some will randomly decide not to output any sound, some will have buffering issues, some freeze the computer while recording. In the 15 years of working wit...

Since most people call Live "Ableton" ...
Should we also start calling "Live" "Ableton". Ableton as a company seems to be responsible for adding to the confusion with their marketing of the newest version. On the box of Live 9 you will read the program name to be " Ableton Live". The older boxes of Live had a s...
