Hi Ive played at monox a couple of times too using live and kaoos pad combo (or rather my alter ego Dr Tentacle has, once on the bill with Mr Guest above), Ive done a few other gigs around Glasgow over the last couple of years, sometimes with other people...I ve added a midi / controller keyboard to...

I designanted 3/4 for prelistening and 5/6 for house, in the options section in Live, in console I just mapped these to the physical outputs

You have to open the indigo console window to configure to select which outs are used for pre-listen and main out. Have you got this far?

Ive also ran live on a 1.8 AMD sony with 256ram, my new celeron 2.4 with 512ram was definately better...

I have a 650 mhz toshiba celeron with 192ram, when I ran it under Win ME it was just about ok with Live 2.0.3 (with no more than one vst) switched to XP and 2.1.2 and it became slower...now on a 2.4 celeron and 512ram works fine with Live 3, but not when using the clips loaded to RAM....

I use the echo indigo dj.

note that prelisten is not possible with ozone

Who was the last Techno DJ or live Act that you(se) saw, Im curious, I saw Jeff Mills years ago, Dave Clarke fairly recently, these are the two biggest "names" Ive seen, but really i prefer my Techno "Wonky"..

Dj card works fine on my old toshiba satellite laptop..

..so wouldnt this set up be the same as with two turntables, prelisten feed to one channel and master to the other? You would effectively be installing a hardware crossfader with maybe tracks 1 to 4 from the left "deck" and 5 to 8 from the right "deck" Im sure this would work as ...

Ive tried it on Sony, Toshiba and Mesh laptops, and its fine on all of them...extremely low noise, not too difficult to set up...it does get it very hot though.....

I cant see how to do this, I dont think its possible .......

I dont think you can prelisten using the ozone...Im having difficultly mapping the ozone to live functions, the instructions from live and m audio dont seem to be helping..any comments please, thanks

I have a laptop...I use a kaoos pad for live gigs...probably going to get an ozone controller K/Board
