What happens when you disable all the fancy graphics? Because Live seems not to be compatible to Aero, the "fancy graphics" will automatically disabled by Vista as long as Live is running. BTW: I also noticed a sluggish user interface and a bad latency with Live under Vista. Live and Vist...

I'm not 100 % sure but in this case, the UB serial number could be free. I would contact the Abes.

In my opinion if you want to edit video, buy a video editing program. Adding video editing features to live would go a long way to making it bloated and more annoying for those only needing it for music production. I agree, but editing video and exporting video are two totally different things. How...

Live's arpeggiator is already polyphonic: Simply use Chord Trigger as style.

Not only the CPU. Double Layer Drive, more RAM, bigger HD. But no chip set which is optimized for Core2Duo. I think the next update will be much more sexy.

CTU seems to use Reason ;-)

Take a look at your menu bar: Your MacBook isn't running at full speed. I would check the energy settings.

Go to kvraudio.com and use the search funktion. There is a Universal Binary checkbox so you can generate a UB plug-in list.

Re: Macbook audio drop-outs!

I have a stock blackbook, with just 512 ram, but im getting audio drop outs with just 3 or 4 loops playing. It's strange, the cpu meter will be at 10-15 percent usage, then ramp up wildly and I get clicks and audio drop out issues. Your MacBook needs more memory to run Live properly. Simply add a 1...

Re: Extreme loading time for some EIC instruments

When loading EIC grand piano it takes about 12 minutes and more while cpu is heavily working to it's max thus invoking other programs or just the task monitor takes very as if the whole system hangs. Anyone with same experience or even better with some ideas how to solve this problem? Thanks Kai Sa...

After the firmware update the MacBook is much cooler, but also louder (the fan comes earlier). The annoying "moo" noise is also gone with the update.
