Rhythm patterns in Arpeggiator device

The possibility of programmable rhythm patterns would make the arpeggiator device perfect.

Hi folks, Unfortunately Live 5.2.1 can randomly crash on a Mac if any of the available MIDI controller surfaces (Remote SL; MackieControl, ProjectMixIO or Tranzport) is selected. This will be fixed within Live 5.2.2 which will come very soon. Regards, /Alex Any chance that 5.2.2 will fix my ReWire ...

Regarding Simpler and the Essential Instrument Collection

As far as I understand the Essential Instrument Collection will be based on multi samples but can also be used with Simpler. Does this mean that the Simpler version inside Live 6 does support multi samples (of course in a playback-only manner)? Or will Simpler play only single samples from the EIC? ...

ReWire conflict regarding Live / Reason / GarageBand

Since I installed Live 5.2.1 on my MacBook the ReWire connection between Reason 3.0.5 and GarageBand 3.0.2 has been broken. Sync and transport between these two apps seems to be OK but you can't hear any audio from Reason. Immediately after removing Live, Reason works again fine as ReWire slave for ...

An arpeggiator seems to be one of most wanted features. And one of most ignored features by software manufacturers.

I'm quite QUITE thrilled with Reason 3.0. No letdown for me there. That's absolutely true. The problem is: You have learn to love some of the new features in Reason 3. IMHO the new file browser is one of the best feature I've found in music software since years. Not all improvements in Reason 3 are...

Live, ReWire and MIDI-FX

If I route in Live a MIDI track to any Reason instrument, I can play the instrument. So far so good. After inserting a MIDI Plug-in, e.g. Chord or Scale, the instrument will also be played - but the MIDI plug-in is not hearable (but the in/out meter of the plug-in shows an signal). A bug? Any ideas?...

IMHO the best arpeggiator I've seen so far in a soft synth is in Linplug Albino 2. This babe has programmable rhythm patterns and a chord mode (which is simply fantastic).

Re: Copy protection improvement

The option from Native Instruments to "deauthorize" the computer is a very useful thing. You can sell your computer or change any component as often you like - without loosing authorization counts.

gah, the non workiness of the midi feature with live well annyoing. are there any other vododer plugins that have the same feature and work in live? Which "non workiness" MIDI features do you mean? I'm using Orange Vocoder (2.7) which works great in Live 4, even as MIDI controlled VST eff...

Re: apple loops tag support

Maybe a little silly, but i'm thinking that the apple loops packs -- and new ones being created - would be an easy and great addition to live; meaning that right now they're only .aiff files with all the genre info written in the file (see how they're displayed in garageband) -- and, having read th...

IMHO the Fruity Loops arpeggiator is not really state of the art. It makes more or less this boring up/down stuff. Additional to your wishes I would like to see an arpeggiator with programmable patterns (e.g. 16 steps on/off) and a chord trigger feature (incoming notes will not be arpeggiated but rh...
