Re: VST's Vs Operator & general help
Hello everyone Furthermore, can anyone recommend any areas for reading on how to make house music (not electro - house/tech house)? this is a little dated, but full of useful information http://www.amazon.com/Dance-Music-Manual-Second-techniques/dp/0240521072/ref=dp_ob_title_bk not as much from a s...

there's also these:
Major Malfunction: http://www.macmusic.org/news/view.php/lang/en/id/5911/
and Gleetchlab http://www.gleetchplug.com/Gleetchplug/software.html
...wait, you're worried about the ubiquitous sound of Effectrix, but would have been happy with Dblue Glitch?

I picked up Volcano2 based on the recommendations in this thread, and completely support all the above recommendations of this plugin.

Re: good keyboard to go with ableton?
hi, I'm thinking on getting Ableton Intro so that i can produce, remix, and make mixes. And i was wondering what keyboard would be good to get that works with Ableton, like you can use with Ableton. I think they are called midi keyboards. I'm looking for one that would be good for making atmospheri...

Re: Putting Songs Made On Ableton to my Itunes Library
bounce them to wav and drag the files to your Itunes folder, if you want them to be MP3, set your Itunes import settings to mp3 by going to "settings" under general there should be a "import settings" button, click on that and choose the format you want.

need feedback on this industrial-ish track
http://soundcloud.com/penguinoid/without-a-scratch I'm laying out basic sketches of a song here, but it needs either something more in the middle before the pad sound at 2:30 comes in, or after the point where the song currently ends, but I'm still a bit of a novice in regards to song structuring/pr...

Re: chord help using the tonys chords pack
I saw you mention Harmony Navigator, it's a little pricey, but really useful if you're having trouble getting to grasp with chord progressions. I actually mostly just use it for this, even though it does all sorts of other stuff too, you can find good chords from melodies by entering midi into it. s...

Re: With all this glitchy, wobbly and techy music.......
Which is ironic, because you advise those pursuing the glitchy microedit genre to be lazy, and to scavenge through the output of generic buffer plugs. Seems at odds with what you're saying in this thread on the topic of soul etc :P You're staying on that list buddy! WTF are you going on about? Crea...

more a Reaktor problem, but somehow relating to ableton?
So, reaktor is running for me as a standalone just fine, however, when I try to load it into ableton, I get the reaktor ensemble browser, but can't click on anything in the window. I have tried dragging the ensembles into the window where it says to search for or drag ensembles here, which then load...
