I'll buy the little transit thingy. I guess you can always use another monitor out :?
I definitely prefer working in ableton but I need to be able to import and export pro-tools sessions.

yeah maybe you´re right. But it would be odd to have live 6 singled out between a bunch m-audio cards. Why not all rewire apps.?

Sweet! I was just browsing for 2-hand m-audio products to get protools (starting to be there where its needed 8O ) And to my great surprice I dont need to buy an m-audio soundcard/crap/dongle. There is a scandinavian compagny called zepto which have good components, excellent customers service ( atleast here in Denmark ) and very competibly prices. Anyway they just opened a branch in the UK .

And outboard compression? I do a lot of vocals over my stuff, with a "decent" china mic. and the ever thrustworthy SM 58 both through a mini tube preamp. Will buying, say a threeq from joe meeks or equal make a huge difference, that i would´nt otherwise get from the SW compressors? regards...

multible out in winamp or other free player?

Is there a way that I can use the outs 5/6 on my soundcard in a free player of some sorts? I tried an asio plugin together with a multible output plugin in winamp - but it did'nt work. It is for listening to cd´s so that i can learn my monitors frequency & responce better. Help my out:) Thanks P...

Route a return track out to your stompbox. Create an audio track with the stompboxs out as in. Use the sends on the tracks you want to route through your stomb box.
Experiment with post/pre settings on the return track to desired wet/dryness,
or set the tracks out to sends only.

Could someone tell me how i would go about syncing with s/pif. eg. making one audio card the master and the other slave. I'm jamming alot these days with a friend, but we fail to sync via midi.
