whats your issue? Does reason show REWIRE light in hardware interface

Have you installed reason as 32bit. rewire will not work with 64 bit.
to install as 32 bit copy reason install file then right click properties, change compatibility to run as 32bit. then install.

i had same side by side error, installed the c++ packs several times. still got same error, wasn't til i reinstalled live again that it finally worked.

http://youtu.be/31PAUB6WzaM this is how to make something similar using reason using the malstrom sythn, which is a grainular sythn, it uses an oscilator called throat. not sure how to go about this in ableton, maybe record a vowl sound a put in grainular vst. hope this steers you in the right direc...

One other thing to consider using this method, any time based effects will have to be adjusted. ie if you want a 1/16 delay select 1/8

Copy all clips to arrangement, razor tool the offset, drag to end or beginning then consolidate. copy back the session

In Live 9 (not sure about versions below), the Follow Actions fields are Bar/Beat/16th. Therefore, a follow action of 0|0|1 gives you 1/16 of a beat.

Therefore doubling tempo will give you 32nd steps.

you could double the tempo of whole project and each clip or track.
