Technically, yes it's infringement. It hasn't been anywhere NEAR long enough for it to be public domain - somebody owns the right to that recording. If you're running it in a national ad campaign, better to cover your ass & pay the license fee.

Honestly, most of that sounds boring to me - slice & dice the same lo-fi syncopated drumbeat? Maybe that's why so much ____core music sounds the same to me. It's a good beat, but damn - sounds like most people don't even use the more interesting part of it.

I just checked the specs on the sick 1500W 18" Yorkville subs we use, and their freq response is rated down to 45Hz. Freq. response is an over-hyped spec. You have to put it in context or it means nothing. Freq response at 45 Hz +/-3dB tells you something useful...I could just the same pump 45...
