I bet the programmers love hearing this "very simple" stuff from ppl that don't know the code.
Not saying it's not a good feature idea tho....
Just hope going through the hoops of adding it doesn't ruin anything else.

I emailed the Voyager people.... Mr-Yellow wrote: Does it deal well with sudden tempo changes and choppy-changey music? -Ben Hi, In a word, no. Our software was designed for dance music and DJ styles so traditionally this has regular beats and smooth, slow tempo changes. Hope this helps. Cheers Mark

I gave up on testing it. Didn't find the interface very easy and decided it's not needed. The program will only allow you to make gradual tempo changes. We'd be looking at making instant and groove/out-of- time/breakdown tempo changes which this isn't going to work for. If a gradual tempo chage is n...

If the drummer has something to play along with then it shouldn't be a problem. If Live is playing something all the time then there should always be some rhythmic element or cue for the drummer to hook onto. For example think of all the cool songs with a wood-block clave running the complete length...

Yeah I'm going to setup a send for each instrument. I'll also have to bounce tracks with specifically tuned EQs and effects. However there is a couple of aspects to this that kinda suck, sometimes I'll tune the effects but then link a couple of params to midi controllers. So once I bounce the track ...

I'm yet to find a method I'm really happy with but it seems from what you're saying that only running a few tracks and many scenes doesn't put too much extra load on. I'm guessing that similar instruments go on each track as the song progresses and effects are setup to work with these various sounds...

I found the easiest way to setup banks other than those included by default is to change the midi channel it sends on. This is much easier then reprogramming each button to use different notes. To do this setup a bunch of channels labeled with each of the general areas on the device, L PAD, R PAD, L...
