Just wondering how people work with drum racks to produce dance music? In the past I've used Guru, and routed the first 4 pads out to a 'kicks' channel, next 4 to snare/clap channel and so on. i'd settle for any deviation from standard 4/4, but an adaptable grid controller that can handle truly odd time signatures would be some next level shit. but non-4/4 support has never seemed to be a huge ableton priority in my experience.

yeah, i definitely got this sense when M4L was first introduced, but didn't know for sure until they decided to bundle M4L with the suite. i think the main thing that might prevent M4L becoming more deeply integrated with live is the fact that, even though it's orders of magnitude more popular by it...
