I get spikes when running external monitors from the laptop that has Live on it. If I disconnect the monitors, spiking goes away. So have you looked at video card issues, something that may have changed after your reinstall?

Yes, I use SS2 with Live, works fine. It's a bit clunky sometimes, software wise. If you have the LOAD message permanently showing, you need to reinstall the firmware. Yeh, sorry to say, Looper does do some wierd stuff sometimes - something in the buffer zone. That's my suspicion. Good luck, I hope you get it fixed.

Had to use video for the first time in a while. Windows 7 (for my sins). Arrgh! NO DICE

So my workaround: downloaded a trial version of Reaper and tried Rewire to Live 10.1.
Ran the video (MP4) into reaper. Hey presto!
WTF Reaper is only 20mb.
IS this a mad idea?

I reinstalled 10.1 and it's working now............I uninstalled recently after getting some blue screens. Maybe there was some glitch in the install/uninstall to do with Max.
