Re: Clicks and pops due to looping
I've noticed pops appearing around loop points with "pro" warp mode. Are your pops happening in this mode - if so try changing to another.

Re: The ability to make midi clips louder
Sounds like I'm being fussy I guess. Editing the velocity is liable to change the tone of instruments. This is why I'm after a volume fader on each clip that works independently of midi. Thanks for all your suggestions!

Disengage solo of all tracks with key shortcut
I'd really like a clear solo key I could map to a shortcut to quickly turn off all solos without having to use the mouse

Re: The ability to make midi clips louder
It would be handy if it could be done on a per-clip basis. That's the feature request. Something that mirrors the per-clip volume boost on audio clips. Automation is the only way round but it takes longer.

The ability to make midi clips louder
It's limiting not to be able to turn up midi clips with the same flexibility as audio clips. I'd like it if there was a fader for the clip just as if it was an audio clip.

Loop clips shortcut in session or arrange
Just discovered this one... The multiple selected clips loop status can be toggled via a keystroke if you assign the "Loop" parameter in the clip box to a shortcut. I've set mine to ":", the music notation for repeat. Easy to remember and not too confusable if you also set "...

Re: Am I going mad? Notes stopping after note off no matter what
Hi Southsounder. My controller indeed does have aftertouch. It's a Roland D50. There's a slider to turn the aftertouch off but this makes no difference to the behavior. I'm pretty sure in the past the problem disappeared and then came back but I'm not sure why. I've now taken to wedging something in...

Re: Am I going mad? Notes stopping after note off no matter what
I've stuck something in my keyboard to hold a high note down quietly so the other notes release as programmed. Thanks for the workaround southsounder.
Interesting that sounds work properly via computer keyboard.
Anyone else getting this problem?

Re: Am I going mad? Notes stopping after note off no matter what
Thank you for your replies. I am working in Live 8.2 and the problem occurs there no matter what the length of the release time. It's as Southsounder says. Whatever the release time if one note is played and released, operator plays as if the release time is set to 1ms. If one note is held while ano...

Am I going mad? Notes stopping after note off no matter what
In operator I can't get any instrument patch to have a release time using my midi keyboard controller. No matter where I set the release time, all sound stops instantly on release of the key. When using the computer keyboard notes ring on according to release time settings as expected. Midi controll...

Re: Selection shift/extension shonky
Hi there thanks for replying. The feature is the one that allows you to select a length of time in the arrange window either by selecting a clip there or by dragging and then apply that exact amount of time to clips on another track by pressing the up or down keys. When working not to a grid this al...

Re: Selection shift/extension shonky
Moving selection still random in the same way in 8.2
I guess this only occurs when not working to a grid. I never work to a grid so it affects me. Talking to myself it seems...

Re: pops/clicks where clips meet - Live 8 cross fade problem?
I have found that using the most recent warp algorithm causes clicks when looping clips. Reverting to the older algorithm fixes the clicks in this case.

Re: Selection shift/extension shonky
Can anyone confirm this behaviour? - I'm finding it's still there in 8.1.5. If I select a clip and move the selection with the up/down arrows, it doesn't move to an adjacent track. I think it moves to the last track the selection was moved to instead. Drag-selecting an area and moving that works as ...

Selection shift/extension shonky
Hello moderators, for it is you who can answer this: There's an excellent feature that allows you to select an area across one track and then using the up/down arrows move the selected range to an "adjacent" track or extend it to an "adjacent" track with the shift and up/down arr...
