I just got the PadKontrol this week and so far I love it! My question is this, I'm using it with Live and I want to set my pads to trigger clips, but if I save a scene to control 16 clips can I still play a software instrument like impulse or kontakt or will it trigger my clips when I hit the pads? ...

If you're using live 7; First, you'll want to load your samples into Drumracks. After that's done you'll need to turn the release knob (It's in the filter section of the sample editor for each cell) all the way to the right. This will alow your sample to ring out all the way. If you load loops into Drum Rack, can you get the loops to sync to the songs master tempo? I know you can do this with a clip but I would like to make a Drum Rack Instrument preset with a bunch of drum loops loaded on to it, so that I could audition different loops over whatever ideas I'm working on...

I've done a couple of releases with Tunecore and they've always come out on time and they have great customer service (in my experience). The yearly fee isn't a big deal because you could very easily end up spending a lot more if you give CDBaby a part of your royalties and sell anything significant...

I have Knob 1 on the PadKontrol mapped to the start time in the sample section and I have Knob 2 mapped to the end time. When I turn the knob it moves in even increments of four. I'm guessing there is no way to make this move smoothly so that I can set the start time of the sample where I want.
