unfortunately midi sync to external gear has always been, and still is a HUGE problem with Live. I guess all we can do is hope and pray that they fix this SOON. I love Live and all it does but I am starting to lose my faith in this product because of the sync issue. what a bummer

no, don't do it. find a club that will let you play what you want and you'd be surprised who comes out of the woodwork. even in Iowa, i think.

yup, same problem with my macbook 2ghz 1 gig ram. I've found that although it says "buffering samples" and doesn't seem to be loading, it actually is loaded and you just need to hide Live (apple>H) and then pull it back up and everything is right there. weird.
