If it's Creepy, scary(ish) one want, rather than gorefest's Guillermo Del Toro's 'the devils backbone' is a good ghost story, & it's a marvelous film anyway. If you watch it & like it i'd definately recommend 'pan's labyrinth' - maybe not really a scary fil, but one that's haunting with imag...

I've seen The original version of the eye - like many japanese/chinese/thai horror/ghost stories it's mostly quite subtle, but most def spooky with some nice visuals to cause one to jump.
Haven't seen the remake (& i'll usually watch any crap if Jessica Alba is in it).

Mmmmmm Frailty looks interesting, I missed that one - reckon i'll have to check that out. Anyone know the name of that old 70's horror about the group of people in a camper van who witness a satanic ritual & then spend the rest of the film being chased by the cultists. Long time since i've seen ...

George A Romeros 'the crazies. I can remember that one slightly freaking me as a kid - especially the old dear with the knitting needles. Begotten - weird & creepy. Recently watched on called 'the signal', fairly low budget, interesting premise, some genuinely funny moments, that contrast well w...

Not as old, but seen as mention has been made of Ray Bradbury. The Martian Chronicles from 1980, UK TV mini Series. Dated, definitely, but worth a watch maybe. Keep those old classics coming, i've got nostalgic shivers racing up & down my spine thinking about watching some of those old 50's clas...

Being brought up in Manningham, Bradford UK during the late 70's early 80's I've listened to reggae ever since I can remember (most of my mates older brothers were running sound systems & I spent a lot of my youth scrounging electrical bits & bobs & helping build speaker boxes). I love t...

I seem to remember having a similar issue with my Microkontrol.
From memory I had it set up as a control surface & also had midi remote on (in lives preferences).
Once I had turned the midi remote to off it worked fine.

Don't know if it's the smallest, but I love my Korg MicroKontrol - lent my Axiom to a mate because I prefer it.

Go to your profile & in the signature box add image tags with the url of the image you want to use between the tags. I think it has to comply with certain standards regarding size - likely in some FAQ's somewhere or other.

Groove quantizing - it's almost there, what with lives warping features & now rex import & creation of the attendant midi files, surely groove quantize is a logical progression from this? I see no reference to a less laborious way to copy clips together with their attendant automation includ...

For some more 'avant garde' dubstep (so to speak) i'd also highly recommend Boxcutter - his LP Oneiric is immense.
Kromestars doing some wicked stuff & one of my favourite tunes recently is Robots & Cellos by Alien Pimp.

Wavefront for Live?

Any of you who use reason must have heard of the Bitword Wavefront refill - it's amazing & has garnered a great deal of well deserved praise. So anyway the Bitword dude popped into a thread over at KVR which was discussing reason & I asked him if he'd ever consider porting that particular re...

I haven't used Rebirth for years - but you can change the patterns from the rewire host. Check the Rebirth manuals, somewhere in the back there's midi implementation stuff, the cc's/notes needed to change patterns etc. Basically one needs to set up midiyoke (or something similar) to send the relevan...

have to say i'm really pleased she is getting banged up - too often ostensible 'celebrities' manage to get reduced sentences purely based on their 'celebrity' status.
Bravo!
