I think Blendton is a fake/troll. Please clean it up by removing his posts, too.

^ Cool! I'm not obviously.
but anyway...

so you should try changing that and see if it solves your problem. You basically have one soundcard as your input device and another as your output.

Re: Recording vocals with 9 through mic serious latency issues
Is the reason there is latency because it is through the laptop mic? Yeah, probably. You basically have one soundcard as your input device and another as your output. The chances of major latency issues would be significantly less if you were running a mic through your audio interface and using tha...

Re: Live 9 browser NIGHTMARE !!!
I get that. But as a company, Ableton won't be able to survive keeping their software so open. They really are a one trick pony, and when you are up against behemoth's like NI who are actively positioning themselves against you, you need to add more to your arsenal. If push didn't have specific bas...

Re: Vocals or instruments first?
If I'm writing while recording, the music tends to come first and inspire the lyrics I write and the vocals that follow. If I've already written a song that I know is going to be heavily vocal-based, sometimes it makes more sense to just have something very basic in place, musically, and primarily f...

Re: Windows 8 Touchscreens
I don't think most people would want the Leap to be their only input device, tone61.. but creatively speaking, gesture control devices like this are going to going to create whole new ways to play virtual instruments and make music with our computers. And even ergonomically speaking, if I have to ch...

Re: Windows 8 Touchscreens
Touch is too messy and mostly unnecessary for desktops IMO. Gesture control is the future. https://www.leapmotion.com/ What we might be able to do in the near future with DAWS and virtual instruments via a device like Leap Motion is much more exciting than a desktop monitor with my greasy fingerprin...

Re: When did it happen - your first inspiration?
Maybe I'm just not understanding you? People are responding and sharing some of the things that initially inspired them to create music. Not sure how that equates to people not caring about inspiration. *shrugs*

Bad guess! And "there was no response at all" to what? This thread?balonny wrote: Guess what, there was no response at all, so my guess was people don't care about inspiration, ALL THEY DO is to relay

Re: When did it happen - your first inspiration?
It wasn't really one specific moment for me either. Music was always my first love. I might've started singing before I started talking (although I'm pretty sure I always loved doing plenty of both). But I don't think I ever really planned or had much of a desire to write my own songs.. they just st...

Re: Bitwait....I mean Bitwig
I'll be curious to hear how Bitwig performs when it's released and to see how it evolves, but I'm invested in Live (still so much to learn) and not interested in diving into another DAW. (Although I recently tested out Mixcraft 6 and might eventually pick it up, if only for the 6000+ samples it incl...

Re: Looking for guitarists to collaborate with
The offer still stands.. but yesterday I randomly decided to take advantage of the AAS Black Friday special.. so in the meantime I'll be strumming the piano like it's a guitar. (<--and that's actually a lyric from a really old song I wrote.. i guess if i ever record it that means i can really mean i...

Looking for guitarists to collaborate with
Hi guys, I'm making an album and potentially looking for skilled guitarists to collaborate with on some of my tracks. I don't have a specific track in mind.. just wanting to see what's out there and test the waters a bit right now. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, send me a ...

Re: The Inspiration Myth
I agree with most of the quote. You definitely can't wait around for inspiration to hit you over the head - you gotta get to work! And the funny thing is even when inspiration does strike , it doesn't always hit you over the head, or beg you to answer the phone when it rings, so to speak. Sometimes ...

Re: Presonus Studio One v2 - 50% Off - Today only
The "Project Page" feature looks pretty cool. One way I think it would be useful is if you're doing an album with a lot of interludes, or going for a seamless/continuous mix kind of effect from track to track. I'm considering this for my own album, but taking all my master tracks to a new ...
