Re: Bitwig Studio 1.2 'mind-blowing free update'
There is no ReWire support but if you want to route audio and/or MIDI between different applications (even 4-5 applications at once), you can use the JACK Audio Connection Kit, which is available for OSX, Win and Linux. http://jackaudio.org/ 'Have you ever wanted to take the audio output of one piec...

Re: reverb alternative to ableton reverb
Valhalla Room is considered to be one of the best sounding reverbs by reputable magazines (SOS etc.) and general forum feedback. I own Room and Eventide Ultrareverb which is very good- I prefer Room however, and Room id $50. Coupled with UberMod (which I just bought) you pretty much have everything ...

Re: is it just me or i can't find a better piano then abletons
It's all about how the piano sounds in a mix, assuming it's not solo. The korg m1 piano still sounds great for house, just about any piano may work in pop and dance mixes. Fir classical/solo piano I use East west piano (gold), samples take about 4 minutes to load if you have all 3 Mike positions but...

Re: Nektar hardware integratin rules
I recently have taken on everything and anything reason and got a nektar lx61 Friday. It's a nice controller, it's not the panorama, but they make a nice product. Haven't tried it with bitwig yet, I'm sure it's very good but I've lost my mind and gone all reason. Please send donations to my "g...

Re: Nektar hardware integratin rules
would be real nice if Abes would add mod destinations to the encoders, it can be done cant it?! Yes, I have never understood why Nektar didn't do a total intigration firmware for Ableton Live....I mean, they have done all the major DAWs now and even reaper and garage band- in internal mode they hav...

Re: Nektar hardware integratin rules
I just bought the P6 to go with BITWiG and cubase (it does live as well but with limited control)
BITWiG support is amazing, clip launcher, step sequencer and ability to assign modulation directly from the P6 (it's like using a hardware synth) lovely action as well, I'm realy happy with it.

Re: Bitwig Studio 1.2 'mind-blowing free update'
Yeh, Beta forum is a very quiet place now....can go days without a post- I only wanted to know what the Abes planned to implement to assist with my purchasing desesions...in the end I just bought Bitwig anyway. Ironically a lot of the requests in the beta forum and the 'live 10' thread are (or will ...

Re: Bitwig Studio 1.2 'mind-blowing free update'
I'm still hoping the lack of updates (just concentrating on bug fixes) is because there is a BIG 9.5 update coming

Re: Bitwig Studio 1.2 'mind-blowing free update'
Looks like a nice implementation of grouping, particularly being able to edit within the group track. Real time audition/hot swap is nice, not just pre-sets but samples within sampler/drum rack etc whilst the song is playing. I am hoping the new present content updates will really show off what is p...

Re: Bitwig Studio 1.2 'mind-blowing free update'
No need to? er, to complete redundant sentences 8) Ahhh- I was worried some one had shot you ;-) I own and use Live 9 studio/Max, Cubase 8 and now Bitwig. My point is that I am finding that Bitwig is actually replacing Cubase as the arrangement view is so powerful ( Arrangement and Session views at...

Re: Bitwig Studio 1.2 'mind-blowing free update'
It's only weird if you assume BITWiG studio is trying to copy live....is it weird you can't DJ with cubase or Logic? Having used both BITWiG and Live, I would say live is better for live work (clue is in the name) and always will be...I don't think BITWiG are even particular interested in that sect...
