Good to see that Donald's still out and doin' his thing well. I used to go see him at The Underground on "the ave" in Seattle waaaay back in the day. He'd only been at it a few years back then, but even then you could tell when Donald came on. . he just had this funk and style to his sets that the o...

It's been a while, but it's in "setup" or "options" in the Battery interface. One of those buttons over on the right hand side (going from memory). It'll give a pop up where you can config how many outs and such. From there you select a pad/slice/drumhit and then you should see an option down in the...

Battery has an option to route (out) different audio channels. Then it's just a matter of telling Live which channels to receive on which track.

I don't know enough about the particulars, but I had this (similar sounding) problem in Cubase SX. The fix there was to turn on "Old Host Behaviour" for Battery. Voila, no more pops and clicks. Obviously, you can't do this in Live, but maybe there's something similar? Or at least it's a place to sta...

"Playing" warp markers?

Is there any way to "play" the warp markers from a MIDI keyboard? I've checked the manual and the "live power!" book that I have, but don't see this. Maybe I'm just not looking for the right term? Or maybe . . . Just to clarify, in Reason (as an example) you can "play" the Dr. Rex from a MIDI keyboa...

Just an aside thought. When you buy a CD, do you tend to think less of it if it's a certain price? I know a lot of people do. It's just a theory, but I think there's a psychology to it and what with "the industry" pricing CDs at $12 and up, pretty much regardless of length, I think people are going ...
