[amo] 8b11: instr. racks inside drum racks, odd behavior
I'll diagram it: A drum rack used to layer snare sounds with chains: - Snare1 [ D#1 ][ C3 ] :: (Instrument Rack/Operator) - Snare2 [ D#1 ][ C3 ] :: (Sampler) - Snare3 [ C3 ][ C3 ] :: (Sampler) Moving Snare2 and Snare3 into the instrument rack of Snare1 results in Snare1 and Snare3 firing when D#1 is...

This is quite interesting. I really am trying to get a balanced view on the subject, but i cant really see ANY good monsanto is doing. My friends is clearly trying to justify his existence as a monsanto man by only reading the monsanto propaganda. does anything they do stand out as particularly int...

All the saving-the-world stuff is marketing. If Monsanto didn't exist plenty of others would be doing their business. Other than some unique bioethical questions which I'm sure people have many opinions on, does anything they do stand out as particularly interesting in the world of large multination...

An add-on could be possible, however for reasons of performance and stability I think it would still be better to have a dedicated app. There are a ton of VJ apps or certainly video editing apps, those will always make sense for what they're designed to do. But really I think kind of the whole idea...

I suggest you find a clown and a dominatrix, lay out some rainbow colored vinyl and leather, clown-sized nipple clamps, an assortment of pies - cherry, chocolate, blueberry, pumpkin, and whatever else - and a couple kiddie pools filled with whip cream. Record this and resample polka loops. You will ...

nice, I didn't know that! is the new vocoder playable by MIDI? It doesn't have an onboard carrier generator that resembles a proper MIDI synth. It does have a white noise and a single tone (well, little tricker than that) and a self-modulate option. And of course it has an external carrier option. ...

[4825] Non-racked instrument device presets affecting racks
Several Operator and Sampler presets in the new content library affect the drum rack I'm dropping them into to preview their sound; some parameters are automatically assigned to macro knobs and macro knobs often receive new titles. These are not rack devices (although I'm assuming these presets all ...

The easiest thing for me along these lines is map the device on/off to a rack control, and automate that rack control. You can vary this technique a little with, for example, a utility with a mapped 'mute' button, a beat repeat with a mapped 'beat' button, a few things like that, which can be helpfu...
