I can't seem to find my FW Solo drivers at the moment... Doesn't it have a similair panel below your Phones output???? If so, simply select what audio output must be played on the headphones. I have a FireWire Solo & it seems to work fine with what you're asking. Have you toggled between the A/B switches next the headphone output???

A normal setup will have the audio from 1/2 going to A & 3/4 to B...
