Re: Recording MIDI into an Audio track via Arrangement view

You would have to set up the routing in session view. probably the easiest way would be to put the various midi tracks into a group, then on the audio track set the input from chooser so that it takes it's input from the group track.

Re: Support for Polyphonic Aftertouch

This great "Linnstrument" is using polyphonic aftertouch: http://www.rogerlinndesign.com/linnstrument.html Unauthorized for Ableton users ! Notes from the Linnstrument manual: Ableton Live Ableton Live does not pass received MIDI channel information to a track, so even if you're using a p...

Re: QUICK, SUE THESE FUCKERS!!!!!!

I like how it takes Michael McDonald just 20 seconds to set the atmosphere whereas the juan doodah require almost 2 minutes by which time I've lost interest.

Re: The Ghost in the MP3

It would be cool to turn this into an M4L device. One which does some bit-reduction and then gives you the missing information back in its own channel. You don't need M4L for that. just place a Utility and a Redux on parallel chains in an effects rack. Yes, duh, obvious.  I will get to...

When you've written as many songs as Marvin Gaye just about anything will sound vaguely like something you wrote.

Re: The Ghost in the MP3

If you think MP3 is bad try listening to a 128Kbps pcm wave file. (eg 8 bit 16 KHz mono)

And I'd like to know how much gain was applied to the difference track to make it audible?

Also don't forget this is an mp3 of the differences and so different from the real difference. :)

Do your lights have a dimmer switch? if so turn it either off or full on and see if the humming goes away.

Once they have this perfected they plan to travel back in time and retrospectively introduce it into Live 1. We will all suddenly realize that it was fine all along :)

Re: Live Long and Prosper

yet another thread descends into a slagging match between the same four or five people posting off topic remarks.

I like this though:
