Microtonic & Trigger Finger

Dear all, I am having some difficulties programming Trigger Finger to control Microtonic plug-in. I was wondering if anyone has a preset for Trigger Finger that would let me put Microtonic under total control (possibility to play individual drums, as well as a possibility to switch between patterns,...

Hello. Are you sure it's not your imagination? Which version are you using? Playback quality problems were in version 6 and 7, but I read they were fixed in version 8. I actually compared playback quality between Cog X (the free player I am also using to play WAV/FLAC files) and iTunes 8 and can't t...

The one from M-Audio is also very nice (well made and cheap). It also has a polarity switch.

It's very transparent, even at lower threshold settings. And the lovely level meter is the big bonus! Great plug! I used it to raise the RMS volume of a couple of my field recordings in OS X recently.

bcr 2000 with ableton live 7 on mac

well, I tried to apply the known Mackie emulation patch for BCR 2000 (patches 21 and 22, version 5) in SysEx format yesterday using SysEx Librarian, and the upload worked, but then I was unable to use all of the functions of the Mackie Control. Only a few functions worked, for example the second row...

I have experienced the same with a Rode NT3 mic plugged into M-Audio Firewire 410. I had exactly the same issue and the culprit was indeed the 410 wasn't able to deliver true 48V. I now have a different audio interface and a separate Grace preamp to handle all these matters if needed.

bluecat wrote:Dear Live Users,

As promised on this very forum some time ago, we are now finishing the port of our commercial plugins for Mac: we have just released Blue Cat's Protector 1.1, a new version of our stereo brickwall limiter plugin.
Bought it. Very nice! Does the job perfectly!

Thanks everyone for the remarks. My setup is also MIDI-based and I would also prefer to be able to do it quickly and efficiently on any channel using just a couple of buttons/sliders.

quick looping on-the-fly as in traktor

Hello, I wonder if it is at all possible, if not - it would be nice to have this feature in the newer versions of Live. When an active track is playing in session view, whose tempo matches the project tempo, I would like to be able to quickly set a loop point and loop length (1, 2, 4, 8, 16), just l...

hello all

is it possible to loop a track without warping it in the session view? if i load a track with original tempo matching perfectly the session tempo, why would i need to do warp if i only want to loop it?

thanks for your replies,
