Used the 64 bit version since day 1 on Live 8 and that was the last day I touched 32 bit. For me it's %98.6275 stable and the biggest "stability" improvement I saw was I no longer had crashes due to memory limits. Live has always been stable for me so I have never understood others issues...

if you installed the same version (32 bit vst for 32 bit ableton and 64 bit vst for 64bit ableton) then ofc.

how much is the drop? cant see it.

It is really nice to sit at the couch to jam a little and the go to your computer and finish it . Best buy I did this year so far.
