i dont think i´ve made myself clear....

i start Live....i drag & drop a mp3.....and i get wierd artifacts
i close Live....i render mp3 to wav using Sonys SoundForge...
i restart Live...drag and drop the wav....no artifacts and a good holesome warp...

....i hope i´ve explained well this time

thanx for the anwser man... the thing is that im down with how mp3 works..... i know about the psychodestructive algorithms and such but the problem shouldnt be with that the thing is when i render the mp3 as a wav and use that file, i get no artifacts whatsoever....but if i use the mp3....live goes...

hellu there.... i´ve got a problem....whenever i use mp3s in the clip view and try to warp and so on, the sound get shitty....artifacts and the warp goes to hell... and i get a very loooong silence at the end when using tracks with variable bitrates....the thing is that i was young once and naive an...

it all depends on how u would like to use it....if you´ll just use it for dj:ing
and how much u´d like to spend....

i use the BCR2000 and it rocks!....
i´ve heard the Bitstream 3x is grate to....its more expensive but it can do a hell of a lot more....
