if you need more serious features, especially about midi that's
the software you need.
i'm a live user since v.1.0 and for me live is the best software ever created but there's still a lot to be done there.

hi there, here's a possible bug. if i load a vanguard vsti in a midi tk slot an i start to browse among presets sonn or later live 4.01 quits. other than this i can use vanguard, no problem at all it's just the preset browsing that makes live quit. has anybody else the same problem? thanks Eraldo Be...

Here'are two tips for an alternative of Live sends: a) when I play live I always direct send 3 and 4 to two separate and external outputs (assuming you have a multiple outs sound card) In this way I can use external processors (reverbs etcf etc) without going heavy on the CPU. b) use sends as groups...

I just want to say how great these Ableton people are...guys have you all ever managed to buy a software/equipment and receive such a tailored/specific support even on a forum? To me it never happened...even...I did a sample cd for Steinberg, they mispelled my name in the credits, I emailed them ask...

This is a weird happening as...with me midi clock sync always worked perfectly.
I have a live set up with a shitty Edirol UM-2 that i use only for sending
controllers to Live but I've tried to use it also as a sync box and it was working perfectly.

I've upgraded to 2.01. Everytime I start up Live it crashes until I remove the Orange Prosoniq Vocoder.
This was not happening at all with v.1.52.

I just dowloaded 2.1 and ...has anyone experiencing the same? Autofilter still has the two old High/LOw pass filters.

I tried today the new 667. my wife got it for live vjing as well video editing...naturally i immediately installed live 1.5. i did the cpu test that was launched in the forum... results: at bar 1 cpu was 4% at bar 17 31% this with internal sound manager. no external audio device. i was expecting mor...

Yes, I can use any sample rate when using Reason. I just choose it in the preferences.

Also I use an Emi 2/6, but I didn't try to check the sample rate. I'll do it today.

Does somebody know how to lower the sample rate of Live in order to save CPU when doing live sets and gigs?
I mean you can do it with Reason, but Live seems to have just 44.1K or 48K.

Any idea?
