Re: Ableton Forum - user style
Any such workaround for Opera? ;-) It is so weird - Ableton always was my main example for a clean, stylish and absolute consistently used design in a companies products, website and gear. As a designer myself, I was quite in awe how they managed to keep that one style so clean for all those years w...

Re: Am I misinterpreting the meaning of auto-update?
I think this could be improved a lot if I would be able to see somewhere the progress of the download and if there were an in-between option between Auto Update and No Auto Update, like most other software offers -> Be notified when an update is available and asked if you want to update. Should be a...

Re: BCF2000 not working
Damn. Started Live 8.4b3 again, went once more through all three controller fields, set them to none and back to BCF2000 and this time it works. Sorry for the noise, although I guess it's a bug in itself - the settings aren't applied properly at first, the user has to reset them all by hand. Cheers,...

BCF2000 not working
Hey, just tried to control the new Dark Zebra / Zebra HZ in Ableton Live 8.4b3 with my BCF2000 and realized that the BCF doesn't work, it does nothing at all although the settings are exactly the same as in 8.3.3 32 Bit. When I switch to the release version of Live, everything works as expected, whe...

Re: VST update problem.
No, the case you describe works. And I can't reproduce it with changing the VST path again. When I first started the Beta after initial installation, Live 64 seemed to use the same config as the regular 8.3, so it scanned the 32 Bit VST folder set there on first start (This behaviour is not ideal IM...

Now with 64 Bit support, please allow multiple VST paths!
Hi, I was asked to move this here from the beta forum: Now that Live 8.4 64 Bit is on it's way, I think it is finally time to implement multiple VST paths. Even with 32 Bit VSTs I found it a bit limiting to only have one VST path, but it wasn't a big deal. Now with 64 Bit support, at least two VST C...

Re: Multiple VST folders finally? Please! :-)
I read it.
I would still highly prefer having several VST plugin paths in Live.
Cheers,
Tom

Multiple VST folders finally? Please! :-)
Hi, Now with 64 Bit support, it would be finally time to allow Ableton Live to select multiple VST folders in preferences. Pretty please. ;-) I found it very limiting already with 32 Bit to have only one, but now with 64 Bit, it would make life sooooo much easier to organize - Like one folder for 64...

VST update problem.
After Installing Live Beta 8.4 b1 I changed the path for VSTs to my 64 Bit VST folder. They were scanned all right as far as I could see in the info line, but afterwards they were not visible in the Plugin pane. I restarted Live but they were still not there. I went to Preferences and not knowing wh...

Re: I jumped ship to Studio one V2 sorry abelton; (
I have to say that IMO Presonus Studio One v2 is the perfect companion to Ableton Live. I personally found the arrangement view in Live always to be pretty awkward to use. Studio One has the same basic principles as live - work in one window (although you can drag the mixer to a second monitor), dra...

Re: Moving Ableton from a Mac laptop to a Win 7 desktop
I'm actually using the same library on my macpro under OSX Lion and under Windows 7 Pro 64 and it works without problems. Since I mostly use Windows, the library is installed on an Windows NTFS drive. On OSX, I run the Paragon NTFS for OSX driver which has a pretty good performance. You wouldn't nee...

also ...the browser search-bar is one of the worst ever ! Amen, it's slower than the second coming Yeah, in times where instant realtime search is a given in most other software I use, this feels extremely limiting in my 85+ Gigs of content. I hope that the next version of live includes a proper an...

Re: MacBook i7 + BootCamp Windows 7 + Ableton Suite 8.2.2
I'm a bit late in the thread, but here it goes anyway: I'm using Ableton on a MacPro 2008 with win7 Pro 64 Bit and a MacBookPro 2007 on Vista Pro 64 Bit (not a big fan of OSX ;-) ) and had massive problems with my Firebox for quite some time. Presonus Support was very helpful - they told me firewire...
