The M-Audio Oxygen 8 has always done what I need it too, but I really only use it to noodle about some lines, as I have a padKONTROL and a UC-33e which I use to really control live.

I haven't used any of the other controllers you mentioned so I didn't bother voting.

Well enjoyed that. I guess you could have any sort of audio input into it so you could be running a live set and making your visuals as you go.

I find it sad you guys are ditching vinyl, it will always sound better no matter how pro the equipment.

Do you lot do the same with CDs, go buy them, rip them then sell them on?

I want to experiment with it for bass mainly, but I guess once I get into it I will use it for something totally different.

I watched said video at work where I don't have Live, and I didn't remember seeing the glide thing so will check it out tonight.

Just watched the Danny Byrd video from computer music (111) and I see on the ES1 synth there is a glide function that gives you like a pitch bend from one note to the next. Does operator, simpler or sampler have a similar function and if so where? Does any one know of a plug-in or a way to make this...

Get An Apple it will NEVER crash... If you play out the last thing you want is to use a PC... I have an old G3 800mg 640ram laptop that I use Ableton on and it works fine because it's an Apple....
