I wonder if sasha, digweed, or another dj/producer had passed if this thread would be at page 5 by now.

Re: Are Blue Oyster Cult and Boards of Canada the same band?

You would probably be safe with Israeli psychedelic trance ala Astral Projection, MFG (message from god), Spacecat, and Infected Mushroom (at your own discretion).

I respect your anonymity, but that gear list raises all kinds of speculative questions.... :)
As long as your not a "famous" bro-metal guitar player.

Re: Proudly collecting music gear and software for no purpose

I have been marginalized to this reality. Re: Post your April 2015 track

My mortgage just went up $400 due to tax reassessment Ouch! I live a comfortable lifestyle but something like that would make my lifestyle decidedly uncomfortable. And I’ll be damned if I’m left with just having to use all the software and gear I’ve already invested thousands of dollars in! I’ve de...

Re: Post your April 2015 track

:( I am on a low output phase at the moment. My mortgage just went up $400 due to tax reassessment, and I am also knee deep in a love affair with guitar pedals and "tone," with more emphasis on playing and jamming vs producing at the moment...

Re: Who's making music standing up?

I keep leaning towards making the move to standing, I know it is better all the way around for posture. Currently I use an extra large exercise ball (75CM) which gives me an option to lay over it and stretch when needed. I think regardless of standing or sitting, posture requires awareness. I see pl...

Re: Want to live longer? Change genres. It's science.

I wish I could find and cite the study, but I once heard a segment on NPR regarding aging, and in it was mentioned that classical indian musicians age differently than their western counterparts due to the the nature of improvisation of Raga's and that indian music does not use a 4/4 meter.
