Don't know about that, all the plugins I have that rely on the DAW to load presets seem to be affected, this includes all Sinevibes plugins, Steinberg Padshop, P900 and several others. tbh these are pretty much the only AU plugins I have that also don't have VST2 versions, otherwise I'd turn off AU ...

So the release notes and forum report from the devs were incorrect?

Checking to see if there is anything I need to do myself first, but they were aware of the issue as the team reported it as fixed so you would think they would have tested if it actually is fixed or not before release

This is supposed to have been fixed, I was told it was in the beta version a while back so my original thread on this got closed so why is it still broken?

They are still not available when I click the arrow to open up the list in the browser. Tried with all my AU plugins that use aupresets. This is meant to have been fixed. Only way to show them at the moment is to favourite their locations in Places.

It isn't, just sample drives and presets. But it shouldn't need to keep scanning all the time, only when I add something new. Besides the slow bit is the library tab not the places tab.

aupreset support is still broken, can't see them for any of my au plugins that need host support. Is there something else I need to do to get them to show other than click on the open arrow by the plugin? (e.g. scan something, add a path etc?)

I think people underestimate how important spontaneity and flow are in creativity - when you are in that zone you are not fully conscious on a non intuitive level of what you are doing and trying to recapture that is often impossible. Yeah Capture is great, I also find often I'm jamming and creating something really freely but as soon as I consciously start to record it and try and replicate it my creative flow is lost so capture is a life saver that way. Every host should have this.

Arturia stuff maps to their own synths only and it can even change presets from the keylab. The Kontrol series maps plugins that support the NKS standard, as well as all NI catalog.
