They are defenetly powerfull enough to run live but compared to aktual pc laptops they are still slow.I would recommend to wait for the G5 Powerbooks that should arrive next year. And never buy a winter Apple. ;-) *just a joke...but it sometimes looks like that apple creates half-finished or feature...

moving faders with a mouse sucks anyway...i dont see what gets better with longer faders....
and anyway..live E-musicans usually use laptops...and its pretty girlish to connect a mouse to a lap

I am pretty happy with the development of Live 3 but i think it cant be wrong to mention some things i would love to see one day... 1) Clip offset delay.
