Re: Magic Mouse anyone?
Since using the magic mouse I realised I've developed a different way of using the mouse. With a magic mouse I physically move the mouse around the mousepad a lot less - actually my hand just rests on the mousepad and I move the mouse with just a thumb and little finger. So now I don't run out of ab...

Re: Abletons Unprofessional Authorisation system-Online/Offline
The auth system is fine for me - used both offline + online, and getting a new reg when limit has been reached was always just a matter of explaining the situation to get it increased. btw, *the worst* auth system must be for ReCycle - it asks for the original CD *very* often when starting it up, wh...

Re: On Mac - how to clear 'open recent set' list under file menu
It would be great to be able to delete individual items from the most recent list too.
Perhaps Ableton could implement something like: Pressing 'Option' whilst selecting a particular menu item, deletes that item from the list.

I heard the UI in Live 9 uses HTML5 and CSS3 markup thus allowing users to customise the UI more easily.

Re: New apartment, new "studio" bedroom. Giant mirror problem.
So, I've just moved into a two bedroom apartment with my girlfriend. The extra bedroom gets to be a studio space. Finally! A room I can set up for the sole purpose of making music. No more bedroom and living music making! But there is one issue... The bedroom has a closet with sliding doors that ar...

Re: Live not supported as Major DAW.. Why?! Audient etc
Anyway, it would seem Native Instruments disagrees, from the back of the package: " Ready for Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Garageband, Live and all other major DAWs ". lol - there's no way Garageband could be considered a DAW. I think we can elevate Live to the status of a DAW once issues li...

Re: Does video rendering work!?!?!?
After *a lot* of crashes (crash reports sent to Ableton) in 7.0.18 (and the 8.2.1 Demo!!) I eventually found a workaround and managed to reclip using Live: http://www.micronaut.info/photonal/grafik/Flynn-3.jpg http://www.micronaut.info/photonal/grafik/play.png http://www.micronaut.info/sites/default...

Does video rendering work!?!?!?
So I've been trying to render a quicktime movie from Live 8.2.1 and also from 7.0.18 and it constantly crashes. (5+ Crash logs from 8.2.1 sent to Ableton today) Does this feature actually work? + What is also *very* annoying is that I can't record the screen output properly because of the little whi...
