oh sorry wasn't clear on that one. i meant will it be possible to use a sequencer style layout so that you could press buttons that would react to midi messages. you cant do this with the piano rollout i dont think.

hmm. damn. i was hoping i might be able to configure my wacom to send midi message to ableton and use it as a sequencer. might have to be done with reaktor. but i love simpler. damn. will this be incorporated into live 6

probably not then, i've just got the version installed off the disc. sorry i thought it might actually be ableton sending the messages to absynth but if you say so ill check out these updates. cheers guys!

can anyone tell me, how does that schaltwerk sequencer work with live? how does it write in the piano rollout at the different timings and how does it control velocity?

thanks for the replys guys. just bought one used. It really is almost ten times better than the Behringer FCB2000. Mackie and Emagic originally came up with some great basic ideas for a controller that they patented more or less, so the mackie control works with Live very well, no problems. I don;t ...

the wacom cintiq 21" isn't multi touch and it uses a pen, but its about 3000-5000 australian depending on where you live and is a crazy little device. but you'd want to be using for art or video editing too to justify the cost.

so poster, if live can't recieve internal midi signals then how did you get your lfo generator to work in live?

I managed to get a sync working but i dont think it works unless the reaktor is run in live, which i cant do because then the midi signal wont be recieved.

I was trying to make the same thing, and i got really close to getting it working. actually i could send the lfo, but only when i opened up my ensemble in reaktor (as a standalone), not when it was running through ableton. i also needed to use midiyoke. it was in this thread- http://www.ableton.com/...
