I also like Zebra for PM. The new Z2.5 XMF is great for wind instruments.
Another line of PM synths that I can recommend are the xoxos model VSTs.

I also bought Reaktor for EUR 99,-. There should even be an upgrade path to Komplete from this.

I'm not too keen on Max4Live, so I won't buy it. But that's merely my personal opinion.

I really like my Genelec 8020 monitors. They're EUR300,-/piece. And they're worth it.

I purchased Alchemy and the soundbanks Atmosphere and Bigtone from the group buy as well as the pad bank from Himalaya.
All of those are great. I don't regret a single cent of the money I spent on this.
