Re: Stuff you have bought and dont use

Guess I'll soon phase out Wusikstation 5 as I now have Kontakt 4 with lots of much better content compared to Wusikstation. Since now I almost never used Energy XT2 but this will change now as Energy XT doesn't remove the keyboard focus from the Native Instruments plug-ins like Live does. When editi...

Re: Launchpad : tips n tricks, ideas, suggestions

I mostly use my Launchpad in "native" mode with no control surface assigned in Live. The buttons then transmit and receive note commands that allow to easily determine the grid position (row=notenum div 16, col=notenum mod 16). Currently I'm trying to implement a drum grid sequencer for th...

Re: Novation Sequence Pad

I'm using my Launchpad in "native" mode (control surface option in Live switched off). This means the trigger buttons are plain notes intermingled with the rightmost button column. The top row function buttons are adjacent controllers. No 4 by 4 group note madness. Maybe I can whack out a ...

Re: [OT] Sonic Charge plug-ins: Synplant & Microtonic

I use Synplant in almost every track I make. It's my to-go synth for pads and abstract sounds.

I have a coupon for $30 off on SonicCharge products for offer. Needs to be spent this year.
PM me when interested. First come, first serve.

** EDIT: Coupon handed out, no longer available **

Re: Late to the game: Reaktor appreciation

I'm afraid I'll be the next victim of the evil Reaktor. I also bought it but did not yet activate as I want to take the next step to this one: http://www.thomann.de/de/native_instruments_komplete_6_upgrade.htm - Camel Alchemy and several add-ons - u-he ACE - Novation Launchpad - NI Reaktor - NI Komp...

Re: What is your desktop background?

My desktop background on the studio computer looks like this: http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/2792/musikrechnerhintergrund.png (scaled down for not cluttering the board with huge 1600*900 pictures) It's totally abstract and very unobtrusive. I use Apophysis for creating images like this and Gimp ...

Re: Physical Modelling Synths - recommendations?

I also like Zebra for PM. The new Z2.5 XMF is great for wind instruments.
Another line of PM synths that I can recommend are the xoxos model VSTs.

Re: Reaktor 5 or max4live

I also bought Reaktor for EUR 99,-. There should even be an upgrade path to Komplete from this.
Ever increasing possibilities then...
I'm not too keen on Max4Live, so I won't buy it. But that's merely my personal opinion.

I really like my Genelec 8020 monitors. They're EUR300,-/piece. And they're worth it.

Re: Camel Audio Group Buy - Save 50% on Alchemy!

I purchased Alchemy and the soundbanks Atmosphere and Bigtone from the group buy as well as the pad bank from Himalaya.
All of those are great. I don't regret a single cent of the money I spent on this.
Take the opportunity while it lasts! (Camel GB until monday, Himalaya Bank until Dec., 1st)
