Re: Better than Omnisphere?
Nothing like Omnisphere some odd strange sounds in there but it's mostly samples. I use it with u-he synths. theres lots of free presets to add to them and paid ones. u-he synths are far more tweakable.

Re: Don't install the 9.1.6 update.
I've been running Live 9.1.6 for months no problems. Live 9.1.6 64bit Windows 8.1 64bit The 32bit version may not be able to load some projects with a few large sampled instruments or more . 32bit Live is limited to using 3.2GB of a computers RAM. If a project goes over this it crashes Live. If you ...

Re: 16GB RAM is it worth it...?
Only sampled instruments are using up lots of ram so if your using those in a lot of tracks RAM is important. More ram doesn't do anything if you already have enough ram. Bare in mind DDR 4 RAM is out now for the new intel CPUs.

Re: U-he appreciation
Can anyone explain to me why there's apparently a need for a dedicated supersaw synth? Zebra's 11 saw waves are not enouh? Urs sees a market for a synth that is easier to use than Zebra with tailored sound for EDM and trance that uses less CPU than Sylenth1 and works in all formats. Hive's supersaw...

Re: Live 9 too many crashes ?
I get a few crashes per week sometimes once per day it's regarded on KVR and Gearslutz as an unstable DAW for using many tracks. MAx4Live plugins go very unstable as M4L is updated.

Zebra EDM preset packs that I bought for Zebra these are great if you want something more modern and shows Zebra is for trance and EDM too.

Sounds like a - if it's not got dub step presets its not got any good presets. Howard Scar made the presets for the last two bat man movies. He's at the top of his game.

Re: Im thinking of boycotting Ableton after seeing this...
I was really offended when the Large Hadron Collider tried to prove The Flying Spaghetti Monster doesn't exist. I emailed the LHC centre asking them to shut it down as it offended me. This week I'm complaining to the European Union HQ, they will definitely have the LHC closed down by the end of the ...

Re: Cytomic The Drop Is Out
Cytomic only had the finished version ready for the ones that bought it. Today Andy released another version with offline activation option and a demo with no time limit. You should be able to demo the new version now even if you already demoed the old version. https://cytomic.com/drop The new versi...

Re: U-he appreciation
u-he Hive a supersaws focused synth is coming out in December.
It might just be DIVA's JP-8000 made less CPU hungry or maybe it's a brand new synth.
