Re: The "Sample is Offline" DAW
@Stromkraft presets include parameter info. I want to save (and know where they are) actual samples with the instrument. I am non native English speaker, so please be patient if you have already given the answer. My question is: -I make a live set and a sampler instrument inside it (samples may be f...

Re: Share your beginners mistakes.
Oh this made me remember:
when recording things into A. wiev from S. wiev i used to think actual audiofiles is being written..
Like conventional DAW.. Because it looks like this when you record.
So i avoided this use long time (to save HD space )

Re: The "Sample is Offline" DAW
How do you save sampler instruments? Are they always associated with the project fie?
Is there something similar with Maschines "save group with samples" option?

Re: Opened project and timing is completely messed up
but when I clicked into the audio file it showed at the bottom 120 BPM and 4/4 signature. But still after I adjusted those the time was still a little bit off when I turned on the metronome. Turn warp off in the sample settings. warp thingy thinks the audio is 120 BPM - 4/4 and trying to match your...

Re: The "Sample is Offline" DAW
Yes. You notice this When you drag and drop audio outside Ableton. In the project, Ableton lowers the gain to adjust!!!jasper wrote:When you Consolidate, the result is Normalized????? are you serious?

Re: The "Sample is Offline" DAW
I have lost files until i have found out how to use "collect & save" too. I still have complaints though: 1- OP is right, one simple "Audio Files" would have been better. 2- Some option to "select unused files and delete" is needed. If there is, i couldn't find it y...

Re: Share your beginners mistakes.
- watching too many “how to” video’s instead of doing … OMG :!: This x1000. Actually, I would expand it to "having the internet available when making music." I start sometimes watching some "how to" video and 1 hour later find myself ended up watching an alligator eating peacock...

Re: Audio Over Ethernet
You're right about critical operating environments, 96 channels etc..
What about simple 2 track audio stream?
Do RCA spdif and optical cables produce too much latency? Cause clock problems?
I don't understand why this simple task is a big deal with ethernet.

Yes, Turn loop optimize on (file/export audio/options). When it is off Maschine leaves the tail.benbts wrote: Whenever I drag and drop, Live doesn't warp correctly and I have to go back and fix it. Is there a way to avoid this?

Re: What's Your Workflow using Maschine and Ableton
Some good points about Maschine's workflow and usability. The main thing that bothers me is what people said about the diffulty transferring audio from Maschine to Live. I already have Push 2. Still it's always good to have more than one way to skin a cat. :) Actually there is no difficulty transfe...

Re: Audio Over Ethernet
I got email from Audionate, answering my question: Is it only the MacBooks you want to connect? If so, you will need a Dante enabled device if you are going to use Dante Virtual Soundcard. This is because DVS requires at least one Dante enabled hardware device on the network for clocking purposes. T...

Re: Audio Over Ethernet
This has given me the impression it does: https://youtu.be/vCiXDh8Lj4M?t=29 Maybe latency is the problem without the hardware? They don't mention latency like they did on other dante.. 100$ is too much for a jacklike program. Damn its too much for audio over lan even!! I gave up, ill use line in/out

Re: Audio Over Ethernet
maybe you are looking at Dante Via? that is a different product which is software only, however it doesn't do what you want. Man, this Dante Via seems exactly what i want! I want to send audio from one computer to another via LAN I still dont understand the difference between two. Ill try the demos...
