Re: Selector for 'sends on this track'?
Check this out, hacked it up in about 10 minutes: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kppo7svfh84fe47/Send%20Controller.amxd?dl=0 Not sure if this is exactly what you're after, but this will map to up to four sends (can easily make it 8) on the selected track. You can MIDI map to the dials in the device to us...

Hindsight ver 1.0 - now availaible.
Finished up a pretty powerful looping/stutter device that I shared awhile ago.
Check out new features and hardware integration here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2I8pxAE8ihE
You can swoop it for $10 here: https://gumroad.com/l/UveaJ

Re: Hindsight - a Looper built with gen~ for M4L
Looks really cool to me... Cheers D Thanks! Means something coming from you. Looks Awesome ! A few weeks ago in cycling74's newsletter they talked about the [stutter] object to build a continuously recording sampler. Great idea. But this one goes quite far ! Yeah I saw that too! Definitely a simila...

Hindsight - a Looper built with gen~ for M4L
Throwing this around the usual forums, to see if anyone would be interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ktXnfCnTAI Has some interesting features for more chaotic and unpredictable looping applications. Still a bit buggy, and some of the features aren't in yet, but I wanted to share it because ...

Re: Is it exist looper that can change tempo without tune?
Not that I am aware of - but you could rig something up that records into the granulator device's buffer, and use that for pitch shifting. Aside from that and searching maxforlive.com, you'd have to build your own. the groove~ object in Max 7 can do some decent pitch/time manipulations. You'd have t...

Re: APC40 Custom Knob Mapping: Temp Remap all 8 knobs by button
I'm not super familiar with the APC script, so if I'm wrong about any of this, apologies, and hopefully someone will correct me. I imagine you could script this pretty easily with M4L. Unlike the Push/Push2 the APC script doesn't have a grab/release functionality, where you can define specific contr...

Re: Sending Dummy Clip Data to an M4L Device? (Reaktor or M4L)
Hi There, It is indeed possible You're being a tad misleading here. It is NOT possible to have the same MIDI TO functionality as Reaktor (or other audio VST that can accept MIDI input on an Audio track) from a M4L device. You can send data between M4L devices, but that wasn't really the question....

Re: Sending Dummy Clip Data to an M4L Device? (Reaktor or M4L)
I don't think it's possible. unless you can make a virtual MIDI port in M4L(as far as I know you can not do this). But you CAN use dummy clips to send data to a M4L device. You need two devices, but it can be done.

Re: Sending Dummy Clip Data to an M4L Device? (Reaktor or M4L)
Haha, always great to answer an 'A' or 'B' question with a 'yes'. Its as difficult as routing automation data from a dummy clip to any device on another track. What I meant was - what exactly is the problem? M4L devices function just as all other devices. If it is an M4L instrument or MIDI effect it...

Re: MIDI to effects inserted after instruments using M4L
I don't think that's the solution. The issue is getting the MIDI to the effect. UDP just adds an unnecessary translation step. It doesn't address the problem of how to talk to the device on the track.

Re: Launchpad remap
As long as script recompiles, you'd be ok. You'd just want to comment out the code that creates the particular buttons. You could also tell the buttons to disconnect: <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 751.3ocyWssiZCCE74vWgUTeqTTryEf9qTUgLIdAuJ3frcnrc09uWeIAnrNP fMqWd.hxwIwyLmywd7qiB...

Re: Sending Dummy Clip Data to an M4L Device? (Reaktor or M4L)
Not really sure what you mean here. You can't select the track that the device is on in the MIDI TO menu? Or the device doesn't respond the way you expect?mylkoa wrote: But I tried something similar with a common M4L device, like the "audioratepan.amxd" and the dummy track won't route to i

Re: MIDI to effects inserted after instruments using M4L
You can't directly send MIDI to audio effect plugins in Live (as far as I know), and MIDI map as you would with a controller, even with M4L. You can either route MIDI out and back in with a virtual MIDI port and another MIDI track, or use the Live API to control plugin parameters that are exposed by...
