Is there some kind of audio pool?
Hi! Is there some kind of audio pool in live? So what I am looking for is basically a way to go through samples and choose the ones I like which then automatically get copied into my current project folder. I am making a usb sample library and so i could use the usb drive on several pc'S witout havi...

What midi information does live send?
Hi! I am using a minitaur with my other hardware which I tried to sequence from live. Now the minitaur just stopps working more or less randomly. It indicates that it still receives midi data but there isn't any sound coming out of it. This often happens when duplicating the minitaur midi track for ...

Export complete channelstrips?
Hi! I just started to rethink my setup, having two computers. One doing all audio in from my synths and the other one pürocessing the bounced audio files. Unfrotunately I can't do it all in one as my system doesnt manage to work stable (probably releated to elektron overbridge use plus a weak comput...

filtering midi out events?
Hi! I have the problem that I own a moog miniatur which sounds awesome but keeps quitting sound output as soon as stuff like restart, copying tracks etc happens. I disconnected the unit from usb so there is only midi in. As the problem does not appear as long as live is playing there must be some ki...

Deactivating tracks?
Hi! I just redid my whole setup and made a very nice init template for live with all hardware channels open, added compressors etc. So the template is great but obviously it draws a lot of cpu from my really slow mac mini. Is there any way to completely deactivate whole channels? Just muting them do...

Re: mixing within scenes?
I will check clyphx (?) out. Hmm yes bouncing to audio... I am using hardware and want to be able to add cutoff modulation later on, also I find myself in need to change one or the other note later on. But yeah you are probably right. Bouncing also might keep me from fiddling around and finish stuff...

mixing within scenes?
Hi! I was just wondering whether it makes sense to mix within new scenes. Lets say I have a groove going add rides etc and then cut the rides and add a breakbeat or so. As soon as the breakbeat comes in I would like some other elements to be less loud. Usually I was trying to sort that out while arr...

shifting the automation track???
Hi! I am using a moog miniatur and when automating envelope times using push the synth doesn't get the automation when done at the note event (pressing note on push choosing automation and changing the parameter) shifting the note about 5% back will do it so I was wondering whether there is a way to...

Any good tutorial on how to use scales???
Hi! Is there any good tutorial on how to use scales with push? I know that all notes work with each other when staying in one scale but I would like to know things like when having a bassline and playing sounds above do i have to play the same notes as the bass or can i vary, what does base key mean...

Re: Fixing timing issues on multitrack recording
sounds too easy to be true. haha. Another quick question. I noticed that the synths show different delay. I am using three electron boxes all synced by the octatrack through a midi splitter with the same cable length. still the bass drum of the analog 4 (not audible trigger signal for compressor) is...
