not sure whether buffershuffler is the right thing for you. its purpose is to slice a loop and play the slices in a different order. chucker~ allows 64 steps max which allows for grains of minimum of 31 ms (given a 1 bar loop at 120bpm)....quite long for granular players. It's not comparable to prop...

there is no direct access to the clip's audio content, doesn't matter whether it is currently selected or not. in any case, you have to route the audio into the M4L patch which can only be done with the currently playing clip anyway.

really curious where you get the clip playing position from, the only thing I find is current_song_time which is the play position of the live set but not the clip.
