yeah I use the 'slice to MIDI' function quite a lot...

I dont think its anything to do with the global quantisation... however your comment promoted me to switch on the metronome and ive noticed its doing some non 4/4 rhythm now...

I hope someone can help me with this..... Im not sure if Ive clicked on something by mistake but all of a sudden all of my clips / scenes are triggering 1 beat late EVEN THOUGH all the clip quantisation is set to trigger on 1 bar.. Ive been through all clips and they are all 100% set to 1bar trigger...

I just copy a clip as many times as I need then move the start \ markers to where I want then..... Then yeah just midi assign them to mpc pads... Simple but effective

I don't think its 'wrong' what your doing... Its whatever suites you I suppose...that's the great thing about Ableton, everyone uses it in a slightly different way

Have you tried putting your drum racks inside a instrument rack? You could then switch them for each song.... That + somehow finding a way to switch multiple instrument selectors at once... Either that or you could mix down (with eq + fx etc) all your parts and create a drum rack that can span many ...
