I know in Cubase and other "higher end" DAW's, you can tell the program to globally ignore a particular incoming message, such as the mod wheel...admittedly a Live-newb, I don't know if Live can do the same thing...

Might be worth looking into before chucking it off the balc...

Live Power is a complete waste of money. I own it and I've read it.

The .pdf manual that comes with Live is more informative, more helpful, more practical.
