So I uninstalled LIVE and re-installed it. With the FIRST start-up I STILL get the message about a crash that happened on the previous session....

Can someone please help?

You could try thrashing Live's preferences.

I reset LIVE but it did not help at all...

I'd guess it's a plug in causing this, so I'd try removing them one by one from your plug in folder until you find the culprit. Or at least rule out plug ins.

I'm opening LIVE "blank" without any projects... and then closing it. It keeps starting with the crash message

Each time I open Live, the "crash" message even though I had no crash. Even if I close Ableton immediately after opening it, I get the crash message each time.

How do I get this removed?

PS : I have an Arturia Keylab88 controller

No, live doesn't have conditional mapping like that. You could look into either BOMES which would require the storing of a flag as there's no bidirectional state communication or MaxforLive which would be the better option as you could observe the state of the filters. Is it possible to map knob/slider "x" on my controller to change the filter on one VST synth when it's OPEN and another parameter on another synth when IT IS open but preferably not both at the same time when I turn that knob "x"?

The problem it seems is with EQ8 after further checking. If I put a Fabfilter before both those EQs, there is none of those artifacts in Fabfilter but they still appear in EQ8 (both)

Thanks for confirming this! I've always preferred Fabfilter. I just tend to use EQ8 for cleaning low end off stuff that don't need low end and the fact that you can see what your'e doing before opening a VST window... So I have the following issue with SIMPLER : It makes these weird artifacts. It's NOT the sample. I've tried any number of possible samples and it still has that artifacts below the filter...

Did you not perhaps add an automation curve to it by accident?

All my crashes I had recently was due to elicencer and reFX Nexus. Apparently you have to have eLicencer open in the background while using the synths that use it. It's a workaround reFX suggested. Steinberg is working on a fix...
